Do the lunch dishes change?
The two combos stay, the variations rotate: pasta comes with a choice of three sauces, the sandwich as classic, vegetarian or falafel. The soup of the day changes daily.
Can I make it through lunch in an hour?
Yes, that is exactly what our lunch specials are made for: order, get it freshly prepared, eat without rushing and be back on time. In a real hurry? Just tell us when ordering.
Are there vegetarian or vegan lunch options?
Yes: the sandwich combo comes vegetarian or as a vegan falafel version, and the pasta includes vegetarian sauces. Everything is labelled on the menu.
Is lunch served on weekends?
No, lunch specials run Monday to Friday, 11:30am to 3:30pm. On weekends we serve brunch instead, the full breakfast menu until 4pm.
Is lunch served on public holidays?
No, lunch specials are not served on public holidays. The café itself is open on almost all public holidays.
